Wunan Health and Wellbeing Centre is seeking a passionate, motivated, hands-on physiotherapist to take over a fully booked and growing caseload in our modern, multidisciplinary GP clinic in Kununurra, East Kimberley, WA.
You'll enjoy amazing work-life balance with full-time or part-time hours available between 8am to 430pm, Monday to Friday (no weekend work)
With our locum handing over this in-demand, 'first contact' physiotherapy service, this role offers autonomy, flexibility, and the rare chance to shape an essential allied health service in a remote and vibrant town. Your client appointments and payments will be organised by our highly efficient medical reception team, so you can focus on direct client care.
What you'll be doing
* Delivering evidence-based, person-centred physiotherapy services.
* Providing treatments, supports and assessments and preparing programs, plans and reports.
* Collaborating with internal and external GPs, AHP's, nurses and other health professionals.
* Working independently in a new allied health treatment room / space.
* Liaise with local services and contribute to team education and development.
About you
We're looking for someone who is purpose-driven, community-minded and adaptable, with at least 2 years' experience in private practice or community physiotherapy. You will bring:
* Experience in musculoskeletal therapy, sporting injuries, and pre/post-op rehab an interest in NDIS and aged-care supports.
* A commitment to rural health and culturally responsive care.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Familiarity with MBS, NDIS, DVA, aged care and WorkCover care and funding streams.
* Motivation to build and grow an essential service.
What's required
* AHPRA registration
* Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy
* Minimum 2 years' clinical experience
* ABN (or willingness to obtain)
* Current First Aid & CPR
* Working with Children Check & NDIS Worker Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
* Professional insurances
* COVID-19 vaccinations (3 doses recommended)

As the only private medical centre in Kununurra and the only private GP practice (accredited) between Broome WA and Katherine NT, we're a busy, innovative and thriving not-for-profit, primary health care service. We provide high-quality, inclusive healthcare for the whole community, as well as tourists and industries across the East Kimberley.
