We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our team at NSW Health Pathology.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a range of operational laboratory activities, including the coordination and provision of scientific and technical training, and the ongoing review, development and quality management of laboratory practices.
* Required qualifications include a Bachelor Degree or higher in Science/Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent qualification, with subjects relevant to pathology from a recognised tertiary institution.
* The ideal candidate will have demonstrated knowledge and experience in the delivery of pathology services, including the use of Laboratory Information Systems, Patient Systems and Quality Control Systems.
* Strong customer service skills and effective communication skills are essential for this role, as is the ability to work in a responsible and efficient manner, managing competing priorities to meet deadlines.
