This is an exciting opportunity to join an industry leader. We are seeking a highly motivated and dependable, experienced Machine Operator / Process Worker, to work within a small team environment.
Immediate start. Hours: 6 am - 3 pm Mon-Fri (some overtime required)
Full time position; after probationary period. Two positions are available.
Job Tasks / Responsibilities
* Heavy, repetitive lifting up to 25kg
* Operating a blending and/or packing machine for dry powder food products.
* Forklift license, is beneficial
You must have ;
* Ability to understand and follow instructions accurately.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
* have logical and mechanical aptitude; be capable of machine operation; and have an eye for detail.
* The possession of good organizational and communication skills.
* Ability to work unsupervised after the provision of full on-the-job training.
* Be a good "team player"
* Complete the required daily paperwork as instructed.
* Work with and communicate with senior staff
* Be a responsible operator, and take pride in your work.
* Have a basic understanding of food safety; good manufacturing practices and hygiene.
