The Opportunity
We're seeking a driven Business Development Manager who will be instrumental in executing our growth strategy. This is not a desk job—you'll be out in the field, building relationships, identifying opportunities, and driving revenue through solutions.
Reporting to the General Manager, your primary focus will be on proactive business development focusing predominately on civil, mining, transportation and industrial markets.
You'll work as part of our sales team, bringing strategic thinking and a hunter mentality to convert opportunities into long-term partnerships.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Business Development & Revenue Growth
* Drive new business acquisition across the corporate sector
* Foster a selection of existing key accounts
* Actively source new leads through prospecting, networking and attending industry events
* Provide market intelligence to refine our strategy and identify emerging opportunities
* Project Management
* Prepare and deliver high-impact proposals and solution recommendations
* Lead strategic bids and develop tailored value propositions that differentiate us from competitors
* Support pricing strategy and commercial negotiations that protect margin while winning business
* Work collaboratively with Operations, Reservations, and Branch teams to ensure seamless customer experiences
What You'll Bring
Essential Capabilities
* Proven experience in business development preferably within fleet management, transportation or related industries
* Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving measurable revenue growth
* Strong commercial acumen with expertise in contract negotiation and value-based selling
* Ability to work autonomously and drive results in a fast-paced environment—this role requires energy, self-motivation and initiative
* Excellent interpersonal communication, presentation, and influencing skills
* Proficiency in CRM systems (HubSpot experience highly regarded) and Microsoft Office platform
* Valid WA driver's licence
