Start your ICT career with Clarence City Council. We're seeking a Graduate Network Support Officer to provide vital network support and gain hands-on experience across council sites.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide first-level ICT support and escalate issues as needed.
* Assist with deploying devices and gathering technical requirements.
* Contribute to the setup and optimisation of network infrastructure (LAN/WAN).
* Manage role-based access and generate audit reports.
* Implement and test security measures to safeguard ICT systems.
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues with hardware and devices.
* Develop technical expertise in server and network administration.
* Mentor and guide trainees in the ICT team.
About You
* A degree in IT or equivalent experience in an ICT role.
* Knowledge of PC hardware, Windows OS, and Microsoft Office.
* Basic understanding of server roles (AD/DHCP/DNS) and Microsoft 365.
* Strong customer service and communication skills.
* Ability to troubleshoot network issues.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills.
* Team player with a focus on achieving collective goals.
What We Offer
* A base salary between $75,071.65 and $86,731.41 + 12.5% superannuation.
* A 2-year contract, full-time (37.5 hours per week).
