About the Opportunity We have an exciting opportunity to join Metcash as a Senior FP&A Analyst – Food and Business Improvement .
The Senior FP&A Analyst will help execute the budgeting and forecasting process for the Food business unit and be a key support to the Food FP&A Manager, Head of National Commercial (Merchandise) and Commercial Manager (Supply Chain).
The role will also assist with executing improvements in the associated reporting tools in TM1and Power BI and partner with stakeholders to deliver various logistics initiatives (e.g.
freight optimisation and Performance Measurement of our Mega DCs).
In addition to the core competencies the role will also take a lead role in the design and embedding of a cost to serve model into the business (across both Food and ALM) and support the development of a labour model to assess the correct mix of employment types in the business.
In this Role Drive insight led analytics to support supply chain and logistics performance/efficiency Maintaining, collating and extracting relevant data from multiple sources to build models (TM1 and Power BI), report on actuals and forecast and generate required insights Leverage data analytics across financial and non-financial metrics to review risk and opportunities to drive supply chain performance (including cost to serve model across Food and ALM business) Engage with stakeholders across the business to implement and embed a labour model to assess the correct mix of employment types in the business.
Development of new reporting, dashboards and analysis in relation to performance tracking of business initiatives and scenario modelling where required.
Coordinating the execution and review of the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting process by partnering with key stakeholders (i.e.
review with Commercial Merchandise and Logistics teams) You're Likely a Match If At least 5 years financial experience CA/CPA qualified Demonstrated competence and experience within supply chain environment and having had exposure to both financial reporting and forecasting, planning and analysis.
Proven record in financial analysis as you will manage business unit budgets plans, forecasting and reporting of actuals vs these plans.
Proven ability to manage priorities and multiple stakeholders.
Proven experience in using BI tools such as TM1, BW/BO, Power BI, D365 & Power query/pivot tables Life at Metcash ?? Experience a supportive and flexible work environment.
