Your new role:
This is a part-time (30.4 hours per fortnight) senior clinical and operational role delivering speech pathology services across Beaudesert and Logan Hospitals. You will manage a diverse rural generalist caseload while acting as the local speech pathology lead at Beaudesert Hospital, working with a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, evidence-based care across the continuum.
In this role, you will:
* Deliver senior speech pathology services to adult and paediatric inpatients and outpatients
* Manage a mixed caseload using varied models of care, including telehealth and group programs
* Provide expert clinical advice and contribute to multidisciplinary decision-making
* Lead service development, quality improvement and local practice initiatives
* Supervise and support HP3 clinicians, students and Allied Health Assistants
About you:
You are a confident senior clinician who thrives in autonomous practice and understands the value of collaboration, leadership and continuous improvement in complex health environments.
You will bring:
* Advanced clinical experience across adult and/or paediatric speech pathology caseloads
* Strong independent clinical judgement and prioritisation skills
* Demonstrated ability to supervise, mentor and develop others
* Experience contributing to service improvement, quality or research initiatives
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities
* A proactive, solutions-focused approach suited to rural generalist practice

Beaudesert Hospital:
Beaudesert Hospital is a rural hospital in Queensland's Scenic Rim region with a rich history of healthcare that spans more than 120 years. We provide rural healthcare across a large geographic area south-west of Logan and the Gold Coast with patients who see us coming from Undullah in the north-west right down to the southern Queensland border. We offer services to adults and children, including 24-hour emergency care, maternity, mental, dental, allied health and outpatient clinics, minor surgery and palliative care.
We're a smaller hospital that offer hands-on training and support to our staff and students. As a secondary teaching hospital, we also have strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland. Our region is known for its scenery and rural charm and patients at the hospital receive care from our team, who are passionate about caring for their community.
