Site Leadership Role
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Site Supervisor to oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects located in the WA Southwest region (Australind to Margaret River).
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. They will work closely with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that all project objectives are met.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise one or multiple projects simultaneously
* Manage construction crews of labourers, drainers, road builders, utility contractors, machine operators, including selection and coordination of sub-contractors
* Organise materials & machinery and ensure workforce, machinery & materials are in the right place, at the right time, meeting projects' requirements
* Allocate team member tasks and monitor work to ensure quality standards are always maintained
* Proactively manage site operations to ensure compliance to all practices, policies, procedures, and in accordance with statutory and local Shire regulations
* Lead pre-start meetings and oversee machinery pre-start checks
* Adhere to company policies and procedures
Requirements:

* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the project team, employees, and subcontractors on site
* A strong focus on safety, with a commitment to working safely and complying with all relevant policies and procedures
* Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
* Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a willingness to support and motivate colleagues
* Proficiency in standard software applications, including MS Project, Excel, and Word
