About the role 
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a small number of Group Cluster Managers to join our team and help us continue to drive the success of our stores in the Sydney metropolitan area. 
This is a role well suited to an aspiring retailer; someone who thrives in a team environment and has a very strong customer-service orientation. Someone who is a very good communicator, hardworking, well organised and would like to take their retail career to the next level, as we seek to pave the way for our leaders of the future. Leadership skills come naturally to you and nurturing talent is a key to your current success. 
To best support our stores and enjoy the benefits of collaborating with our passionate team, this role is primarily based at our purpose-built Support Office in Summer Hill, Sydney. However each week will typically include three days in your cluster of up to seven stores and working every second Saturday in store. 
Being a privately owned and family run company, you'll work in a 'hands on' and supportive workplace, where multi-tasking is the norm and continuous improvement is an integral part of our DNA. 
What will you do? 
- Drive the ongoing sales focus, service standards and success of up to seven stores. 
- Develop a high-performance team culture throughout your stores. 
- Manage the full employment lifecycle of your team, while improving your existing human resource management skills. This includes the management of foundational roster patterns and the optimisation of staffing levels. 
- Business planning with your Store Managers including the coaching and development of all team members. 
- Contribute to the expansion of training and development programs, including one for you and your fellow Cluster Managers. 
- Ensure the maintenance of nationally aligned retail standards and promotional activity, including compliance with Company policies and procedures.
What skills and experience do you need? 
- Proven history of achieving beyond personal and store targets and KPI's. 
- Outstanding leadership qualities and exceptional communication skills. 
- Excellent people development, performance management and training skills. 
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to multitask. 
- Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment. 
- Highly organised, deadline driven and proactive. 
- Strong computer literacy with a minimum of intermediate MS Office Skills. 
- Self-motivated with an active 'hands on' approach and a 'can do' attitude. 
- High level of professionalism and work ethic.
