Our client, a long-standing and highly regarded Law Firm with offices throughout the Melbourne Metro & Regional Victoria, now have an exciting opportunity for a talented and experienced Practice Administrator to assist their management team.
Based in the eastern suburbs the firm is now looking to appoint an experienced and highly capable Practice Administrator to become a pivotal member within their management team (comprised of Partners/HR/Finance/Operations Marketing/IT Managers) in a
**'hands on' role **in order to continue their smooth operations and sustainable growth.
Primary responsibilities in this role will include:
- Review, revise & implement/deliver the firm's strategic business plan
- Ensure core values/purpose align with new strategy
- Ensure efficient & competent service delivery of legal services/operations
- Monitoring/updating office systems, policies and procedures, compliance etc.
Reporting directly to the Operations Manager and working closely with the broader management team, some specific duties will include:
- (but not be limited to):
**Operations/Administration**:
- Management of practice operations on a daily basis
- Client services management and reporting
- Review and implement changes to office manuals and policies
- Arrange equipment, furniture, office maintenance/repairs & supplies
- OH&S Compliance
- Co-ordinate Fire Warden Training
- Oversight of filing system/archiving/storage requirements
- Ensure staff operate in a legally compliant and professional manner
- Policy & procedure oversight
- Ensure workstations set up for new starters (in conjunctions with IT/HR)
- Management of staff relocations/security passes
**To be successful in this role you will have the following attributes;**
- **Previous experience **as an Operations/Practice Administrator **within a professional services office environment. Law firm experience is idea**:
- Highly developed/polished communication & interpersonal skills to effectively lead & liaise firm wide
- Ability to anticipate and solve both operational and strategic issues with a confident, mature-minded & pragmatic manner;
- Genuine interest in being part of a team focussed on the delivery of further growth & success
