They are seeking a driven individual to play a key role in developing and maintaining their Power BI platform. About the Role: As a Power BI Developer, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of Power BI development, from requirements gathering and data analysis to dashboard creation and model design. You will be a key player in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring data is presented effectively and efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Requirements Gathering & Documentation: Interpret complex business requirements and translate them into clear and concise technical specifications for the development team. Document all technical requirements thoroughly to ensure clear understanding and efficient development. Data Analysis & Profiling: Perform in-depth data profiling and analysis to understand new source systems and identify data quality issues. Gain a comprehensive understanding of data structures and relationships to ensure accurate data integration. Development Leadership & Review: Lead the development team, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery. Review development tasks to maintain code quality and adherence to best practices. Power BI Dashboard Development: Design and develop interactive and visually appealing Power BI dashboards to meet specific business requirements. Optimize dashboard performance for efficient data visualization and user experience. Data Modelling (SSAS Tabular & Power BI): Design and develop robust SSAS tabular models and Power BI data models from the ground up. Implement data transformations and calculations to create accurate and insightful data models. Skills & Experience: Proven experience as a Power BI Developer, with a strong portfolio of successful projects. Extensive experience in developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports. Strong understanding of data modelling concepts and experience with SSAS tabular models and Power BI data models. Proficiency in DAX and Power Query. Experience with data profiling and analysis techniques. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively translate business requirements into technical solutions.
