We are looking for skilled Bricklayers to join our Team, this position will work across multiple locations including Perth Metro, North West and the South West.
Responsibilities
* Analysing and interpreting building plans.
* Interpreting work orders and determining the materials required.
* Cutting, repairing bricks, cement blocks, paving, stone, etc
* Arranging bricks or block in a precise manner to construct walls, floor and other structures
* Laying bricks, cement blocks, paving, stone
* Preparing and spreading mortar to bond bricks and stones
* Prepare concrete footing/slab to lay bricks/blockwork. May be required to set up metal reinforcement for concrete block/footing/pad, and formwork.
* Calculating angles and determining the vertical and horizontal alignment of courses.
* Ensure that concrete footing/slabs are level using necessary machines, tools and techniques before laying bricks and blocks
* Setting out of brick and block work to a professional quality in a timely and efficient manner
* Using equipment and tools effectively to perform basic construction tasks.
* Adhering by safety regulations and industry standards
* Working as part of a team to complete projects
Qualifications
* Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
* Certificate III in Bricklaying and Blocklaying or Equivalent
* Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
