A little about the role
Lead the design, development, and delivery of the learning strategy that supports the successful implementation of a new organisation-wide system, ensuring all staff gain the knowledge, skills, and confidence to use it effectively and uphold service excellence across all KAA programs
Reporting to the People and Learning Manager, some of the things you'll do include:
* Develop an L&D strategy that supports system adoption across a multi-service national organisation.
* Apply evidence informed learning design that aligns with KAA's practice frameworks (e.g., trauma informed, strengths based, child safe).
* Embed accessibility, cultural safety and inclusivity in learning design consistent with KAA's recognition of and commitment to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, and diversity and inclusion principles.
* Oversee and assist in the development of bespoke, role‐specific training materials aligned to new workflows and data model.
* Assist in the delivery of engaging face‐to‐face system training sessions across multiple locations.
* Support ongoing professional development in line with KAA's belief that its people are its "key assets".
The base salary for this position is $102,00 - $107,500 per annum + super + salary packaging options up to $15,900 per annum. This position is a full‐time fixed‐term contract (18‐months), and can be based from any of our KAA offices nationally.
About you
To thrive in this role, you'll bring the following:
* Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, Project Management or an equivalent discipline
* A minimum of 5 years' experience in a Learning & Development role, with a track record of delivering high‐quality learning solutions
* Proven experience delivering L&D for organisation‐wide system implementations, with the ability to translate complex technical requirements into accessible learning.
* Strong facilitation skills and confidence delivering engaging learning experiences in both face‐to‐face and digital environments.
* Advanced instructional design and adult learning expertise, with an evidence‐based approach to creating impactful learning.
* Capability to design learning for diverse audiences, including social workers, carers, operational staff and administrative teams.
