About Us
Join the team transforming hospital intelligence.
At HealthCare Logic, we’re empowering executive, clinical and operational teams to optimise hospitals through improved data-led decision-making and processes. As the emerging leader in hospital intelligence, our flagship platform SystemView is installed in more than 170 hospitals across Australia, Ireland, and the UK to make faster, smarter decisions that improve patient outcomes.
We’re not just building dashboards, we’re engineering clarity. Our platform leverages high-frequency, transaction-level datasets, powered by AI/ML algorithms, to deliver real-time insights that unlock capacity, improve processes and optimise patient flow.
You’ll be part of a borderless team of data engineers, scientists, product experts and customer success who are curious, accountable, and driven by impact. Together, we’re creating a globally connected network of high-performing hospitals.
If you’re passionate about data with purpose and want to see your work directly improve healthcare systems, this is your moment.
About the Role
As a Lead Full Stack Web Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and delivering scalable web applications and enhancements to our core product, SystemView. You’ll lead cross-disciplinary teams, architect modern frontend and backend solutions, and drive secure development practices across our engineering processes.
You’ll be responsible for implementing intuitive, responsive user interfaces and robust APIs, while enhancing our CI/CD pipelines and contributing to the evolution of our platform architecture. You’ll also mentor junior developers, participate in Agile ceremonies, and collaborate globally to deliver high-impact solutions.

* Architect, implement, and document APIs that enable robust front-end ↔ back-end contracts.
* Build responsive, accessible UIs and partner with Design to refine interaction patterns.
* Improve CI/CD (Azure DevOps) and development tooling; champion trunk-based/Git-based workflows and code review excellence.
* Elevate test strategy (unit/integration/e2e with tools such as Cypress); maintain strong coverage and reliable pipelines.
* Own operations with the platform/DevOps team: monitoring, incident response, post-mortems; bake in security/privacy by design.
People & Delivery Leadership

* Set engineering standards (code quality, branching, reviews, definition of done) and measure with DORA/flow metrics.
* Coach and mentor developers at all levels; pair program, set learning paths, and delegate effectively.
* Experience managing teams (workloads, 1:1s, performance reviews + growth plans).
Architecture & Cross-Functional Impact
* Contribute to the Web & Platform architecture (design system, shared libraries, performance/observability).
* Participate in technical councils and align with global colleagues to land scalable, secure solutions.
* Provide expert debugging and production support during outages or complex defects.
