Responsibilities
* Closely monitor work practices to prevent security breaches.
* Work closely with staff to ensure the health and safety of all persons in the workplace.
* Perform patient care activities and general assistance within ward areas under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
* Respond to requests for assistance from any department within the Broken Hill Health Service.
Qualifications / Selection Criteria
* Holds a Class 1AC Security Licence.
* Demonstrated skills to work independently and as part of a team.
* Demonstrated effective, clear and concise communication skills.
* Demonstrated ability to monitor work practices, prevent security breaches and escalated breaches to immediate Line Managers.
* Able to demonstrate the requirements to provide and ensure the health and safety of all persons in the workplace.
* Demonstrated ability to serve as a resource for security issues.
* Demonstrated ability to perform patient care activities and general assistance within ward areas.
