Job Description
Asset Management Engineers Pty Ltd is seeking a Plant Inspector / NDT Technician located in Kalgoorlie to conduct Registered Plant inspections. Responsibilities
* Perform inspections, testing and audits on mobile and fixed plant.
* Produce high‐quality, detailed reports related to inspections, testing and audits.
* Use specialist inspection and test equipment, gauges, and other measuring devices as required.
* Review engineering design documentation, MDRs and plant registration documentation.
* Project‐manage inspection, auditing and engineering compliance consulting projects.
* Assess compliance of plant and machinery in accordance with relevant WA legislation and Standards.
* Provide technical support, documentation and advice related to compliance, industry best practices and optimal use of plant & machinery.
Qualifications and Experience
* Mechanical Engineering qualification.
* NDT Level 2 (UT) qualification.
* Extensive knowledge of Australian Standards, Work Health & Safety Act 2020, Work Health and Safety (Mines) Regulations 2022, Work Health and Safety (General) Regulations 2022.
* Effective written and verbal communication skills.
* High attention to detail and strong report‐writing skills.
* Effective time management and ability to meet deadlines.
* Adaptability with working hours.
* Must have unrestricted right to work in Australia and a current driving licence.
Preferred Criteria
* API 510 or AICIP NDT (MT, PT, EC) Level 2.
* At least one year of full‐time experience in plant inspections, testing and/or compliance assessments in mining or similar positions.
Position Details
Location: Kalgoorlie (residential based – candidates must reside in Kalgoorlie). Salary: $100,000 – $140,000 per annum plus superannuation, commensurate with experience, certifications and skill set. Job ID 5739513. Position expires on 12‐06‐2026.
