Join a leading national Civil company supplying construction, and civil projects. We're on the hunt for a skilled Mechanic to maintain and repair a Trucks & Trailers.You'll be responsible for servicing and repairs in the workshop and out on‐site, keeping downtime to a minimum and ensuring equipment is compliant, safe, and ready to go.
Key Responsibilities
* Service, inspect, and repair a range of Trucks & Trailers
* Brands - Western star, International, Prostar's, Cat Trucks CT610 & CT630, Hino, Isuzu & Kenworth's (Engine Brands Cummins & Detroy)
* Trailers : Kennedy & Haulmark
* Diagnose faults in hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems
* Respond to field breakdowns and emergency call-outs as needed
* Work with the service team to plan jobs and order parts
* Ensure all repairs meet compliance, safety, and OEM standards
What You'll Need
* Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (Diesel Fitter / Heavy Vehicle / Plant Mechanic)
* 3+ years experience working on Heavy Trucks & Trucks
* HR License - Preferable
* Current Driver's Licence – Essential
* Ability to work autonomously and travel to client sites when required
* Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical
