Country Nursing and Midwifery Incentive Program
Ever considered a career in the country? The Country Nursing & Midwifery incentive program is available to support new and existing nurses and midwives - across a broad range of patient-facing roles. It is available to new and existing nurses working full-time, part-time on fixed-term and permanent contracts across 76 select sites. Eligible nurses and midwives may receive between $5,000 and $17,000 paid over 12-months.

About the OPPORTUNITY
This is a recruitment pool for Permanent Full Time, Permanent Part Time, Fixed Term Full Time and Fixed Term Part Time appointments with the possibility of extensions and/or permanency.
The Emergency Department provides 24-hour emergency care for the community of the Goldfields. The department is equipped with resuscitation bays for the most critical patients, acute bays, negative pressure isolation room as well sub-acute bays. The department is led by a medical team of Emergency Specialists, Senior Medical Officers, a nursing team of both Registered and Enrolled Nurses and supported by patient care assistants and administration officers.
Key responsibilities include:
The primary responsibility of a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department is to provide nursing care for patients within the scope of practice and to provide clinical supervision for enrolled nurses and students.

About You
The successful applicant will have:
* Demonstrated competent nursing practice, within the Emergency Department.
* Demonstrated competence in planning, coordination and decision making in the management of patients, this will include the areas of: triage and resus within the Emergency Department.
* Demonstrated ability to function as a team leader within the Emergency Department
