Overview We have a rewarding opportunity for Electrical Boilermaker/Welders to join the Perdaman Project Team in Karratha on a 20:8 day shift roster basis.Long-term project opportunities availableOpportunity to work on a major infrastructure project in PerthExposure to a range of iconic projects and industriesClough, as part of a joint venture, is delivering the Project Ceres urea plant, a landmark project for Western Australia.
The plant will be the largest in Australia and one of the largest in the world, installing the most sustainable production processes.
The project is expected to generate 2,000 jobs during the construction phase, whilst delivering sustained benefits to the local community through career, training and business opportunities.
About the Role Read drawings, work orders and production schedules to determine product or job instructions and specifications.Select, clean and prepare metal stock, fabrication tools and equipment.Use of cutting / welding equipment and boiler making tools to install, fabricate, weld and/or repair structural components, pipe supports, caissons & J-Tube installation.Fit and assemble metal components by riveting, bolting, welding, brazing or soldering.Use machines, equipment and tools in a safe and appropriate manner.Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal using gas shielded metal arc.
