The Faculty of Health is dedicated to being at the forefront of teaching, learning, creativity, social development, and groundbreaking research and discovery.

This role will specifically be working within the School of Nursing and Midwifery.
About the role Join a collaborative teaching team to design engaging learning materials and activities that enhance student outcomes.
With guidance and mentorship, you'll also contribute to impactful research and scholarship within your discipline.
As an Associate Lecturer in the School of Nursing and Midwifery, you will Develop effective learning materials and activities as part of a design team or with guidance from the Unit Chair and demonstrate awareness of ongoing innovation in curriculum design.
Assist in applying industry, clinical and/or research practice into student learning experiences, success, engagement and resources.
Deliver effective teaching practices within unit and suggest approaches to innovate teaching practices to improve student success and engagement.
Conduct high-quality research, scholarship and creative activities generating high impact outputs, with mentorship.
Contribute to Deakin community and its effectiveness via local engagement and citizenship activities.
To be successful, you'll have PhD in a relevant discipline and/or other relevant qualifications and experience.
Excellent record of scholarly learning and teaching in UG and/or PG programs, including innovative curriculum design.
Emerging research and scholarship through publications, and/or exhibitions as appropriate to the discipline.
Ability to contribute to communities through research.
Capacity to contribute to teaching, research and administration.
