Quality Assurance and Training Officer AU/NZ

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance and training officer with 3+ years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with our companies existing certification. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Travel to our Victorian and New Zealand branches will be required from time to time also.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols and procedures for AU/ NZ such as
* Conduct regular inspections and audits of product & processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
* Execution of incoming materials control plan.
* Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify and address quality & HSE issues, identifying possible improvements.
* Collaborate with corporate HR assisting with staff selection, evaluations & staffing structure.
* Maintain accurate records of quality assurance activities and findings.
* Support the quality team to train and assist staff on quality assurance functions.
* Preparation of quality reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
* Liaise with head office Italy QA.
Qualifications & Abilities:
* Qualifications in Quality Assurance, Engineering, or a related field, desirable.
* Experience in a quality assurance role, preferably in the industrial or mining sectors.
* Knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and standards.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Proficient in MS Excel & MS Office.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Quick to comprehend documents & communicate their meaning to stakeholders.
* Take ownership of situations & get it done.
