APG Workforce is currently seeking an experienced and driven Afternoon Shift Production Manager to join a well-known poultry production team in Wingfield.
About the Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands‑on leader with a strong background in food manufacturing to oversee production operations, drive performance, and ensure quality and safety standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage day‑to‑day production operations in line with KPIs
* Oversee staffing, planning, and labour utilisation
* Drive safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives
* Ensure compliance with HACCP, WHS, GMP, and other standards
* Conduct training, risk assessments, and performance reviews
* Maintain a collaborative relationship with internal teams
What We're Looking For:
* Proven experience in a production leadership role, ideally in food processing or FMCG
* Strong understanding of HACCP, food safety, and quality systems
* Excellent communication, planning, and problem‑solving skills
* Ability to lead large teams and manage high‑pressure production targets
* Knowledge of yields, weights, and product flow in poultry or meat processing highly regarded
