Senior Performance Engineer

About the Role As a Senior Performance Engineer, you'll work within a specialist Quality Engineering team to deliver robust, scalable, and high-performing systems. You'll lead initiatives across performance testing, automation, service virtualization, and chaos engineering.
What You'll Do
* Drive performance engineering practices across the software development lifecycle.
* Build and maintain performance test frameworks and automation scripts.
* Define and validate non-functional requirements (NFRs) for software and infrastructure.
* Analyse system performance using logs, dashboards, and monitoring tools.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
* Continuously evaluate and adopt new tools and frameworks to improve performance outcomes.
What You Bring
* 10+ years of experience in performance testing (e.g., JMeter, Gatling, Performance Center).
* Strong knowledge of monitoring tools (e.g., AppDynamics, Splunk, Nagios).
* Proficiency in scripting and programming (Java, Python, Shell, etc.).
* Experience with Linux systems and database technologies (Oracle/SQL).
* Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and chaos engineering practices.
* A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is a plus.
