What You'll Do
We are looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to join our team in Bunbury.
* Design coordination for selected projects or components of projects, collaborating with other design disciplines to ensure the integrity of the overall design.
* Providing technical advice for all aspects of civil design including bulk earthworks, roadworks, drainage, constructability and interfaces with other disciplines.
* Managing effective and positive stakeholder relationships, both internally and externally.
* Providing direction to the project team and promoting awareness of technical and commercial risk assessments/mitigation.
* Working with and mentoring junior engineers, designers and drafters and guiding them in delivery and their professional development.
* As required, providing direction to the civil design team.
* Preparing calculations and checking design drawings and models to ensure they align with applicable standards and specifications.
* Preparing study and design documentation, technical specifications, and project deliverables.
What You'll Have
* Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering.
* Extensive civil engineering experience delivering resource and infrastructure projects.
* Demonstrated technical acumen with proven experience of managing and delivering design solutions.
* Track record of effective cross-discipline project delivery and collaboration with all key engineering disciplines.
* A collaborative approach and appreciation for teamwork.
* A passion for continuous improvement, quality and improving service for clients.
* High attention to detail, good analytical and communication skills.
* Capacity to lead and mentor junior engineers across technical and project delivery aspects.
* Previous experience across roads, drainage and pads for mining infrastructure and facilities.
* Experience in preparing engineering calculations, and checking design drawings and models.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, and ability to liaise with external and internal stakeholders.
