Job Description
* Coordinate the daily airfreight operations and ensure timely processing of shipments.
* Manage documentation related to import and export compliance.
* Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
* Track and monitor shipments, resolving any issues promptly.
* Assist with data entry and maintaining accurate records of all airfreight activities.
* Ensure adherence to company policies and industry regulations.
* Support the logistics team with ad hoc tasks as required.
* Provide updates to team members and management regarding shipment statuses.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Airfreight Operator should have:
* Experience or understanding of airfreight and logistics processes.
* Experience with international imports and exports
* Experience with Cargowise
* Strong organisational and administrative skills.
* Attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency with common software tools and systems used in logistics.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to meeting deadlines.
