Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Refrigeration Solutions Designer to join our team. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for designing and delivering refrigeration solutions for various sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
* Complete detailed engineering calculations and design for the development of refrigeration solutions
* Prepare estimates for minor and major project work
* Evaluate existing refrigeration plants and assist clients in modifying the system to meet their requirements
* Market services provided by us to customers
* Provide total customer support
* Manage project costs and ensure successful completion
* Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with health and safety systems
* Draft technical documents and complete audits of refrigeration systems on site
* Contribute to the continuous development of internal systems
* Perform administrative duties associated with engineering and project management operations
* Supervise and assist with commissioning new plants
* Deliver training for internal and external technical people
* Assist the service department with engineering and small contracting support
Requirements:
* Engineering Qualification with industrial experience
* Strong background in engineering design and project delivery for mechanical, electrical, or process equipment
* Experience in process engineering design, project management, and heavy industry
* Excellent skills in designing and developing industrial refrigeration projects
* Effective handling of project reviews and FAT/SAT testing
* Competent computer skills in MS Word, Excel, Project, Visio, and AutoCAD
* Standardizing deliverables and setting up a standard library
* Exceptional time management and communication skills
* Ability to work within a team environment
* Drive to succeed
* Keep up-to-date with technical aspects of the job and be willing to undertake training
