Aboriginal Health Worker - Community Engagement
This role is focused on promoting community health and wellbeing by engaging with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities in a culturally sensitive and respectful manner.
* Developing and implementing culturally responsive health promotion initiatives to address local health needs and priorities.
* Building relationships with community members, leaders, and elders to understand their health concerns and develop programs that meet these needs.
* Designing and delivering education, awareness, and prevention programs to enhance community health literacy and promote healthy behaviors.
* Working closely with stakeholders to identify and advocate for culturally appropriate health practices and raise awareness of Aboriginal health issues.

Requirements
* Proven experience in community engagement and health promotion
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
