DJ Buckley Builders is a family-owned and operated construction company employing a great team of skilled carpenters and quality apprentices. We specialise in small to medium commercial projects and high-end residential construction, including new homes, extensions, and renovations. We take pride in creating a work environment where you can further develop your skills and help to delivering quality workmanship.
Key tasks & responsibilities
* Carpentry duties and experience in this field of work
* Must be able to work unsupervised
* Award hourly rate negotiable depending on experience.
* Steel and timber framing
* Formwork and concreting for slabs, footings, and walls
* Installation of cladding, flooring, and structural elements
* Commercial and residential fit outs
About you
We're looking for qualified, experienced carpenters who take pride in their work and enjoy being part of a professional team.
You will have
* Trade Qualification in Carpentry
* Read and interpret plans and drawings
* Operate tools and equipment safely
* Good communication skills
* Ability to work in a team environment
* A great work ethic and safety focused
* Provide your own tools
* Construction White Card (or ability to obtain)
* Valid C class driver's licence and reliable transport
