About the Role:
This long-term contract will offer you a chance to build your career in a prominent Federal Government Agency. As a Disability Case Manager, you will work by managing a caseload to assess available information against legislative criteria and policy to determine a resolution. This will include working collaboratively with stakeholders and participants to progress matters timely and accurately.
* Manage end-to-end case management related to ART applications.
* Interpret legislation and policy to resolve complex matters.
* Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to provide professional advice and support.
* Attend case conferences, conciliations, and hearings.
* Prepare reports, resolution documents, and participant plans.
* Apply alternative dispute resolution principles to resolve matters.
About You:
* A strong background in disability and administration is essential.
* Good judgment for assessing risk and associated decision-making.
* Experience managing sensitive or complex case portfolios.
* Strong knowledge of NDIS policies and guidelines.
* Strong communication skills and resilience, including communicating effectively with stakeholders in challenging circumstances.
* Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
* Exceptional report writing skills.
* Experience preparing documents for case management meetings.
* Australian citizenship.
