**What's the job?**
Reporting to the Yandina Print Centre Operations Leader this role is responsible for primarily driving preventative maintenance and leading timely repairs to all equipment at site. In this role, you are responsible for troubleshooting, problem solving and identifying new opportunities on how we can optimise the output of our equipment. As a technical expert and leader of the reliability department, you will be accountable for the maintenance schedule and optimal production speed of the equipment and the team that carries out the maintenance. In addition, the Reliability Leader is a member of the Print Centre Leadership Team, responsible for the development and growth of employees in their team.

- 6 Mechanical Fitters
- 6 Industrial electricians
***What you will deliver and how**:
**Customer**- Work collaboratively with Reliability Leaders across News to share best practice and identify efficiencies for the site.
- By working in partnership with the Production Leaders, you will be clear on the downtime challenges in production. Your role is to reduce downtime and maintain our equipment to the highest possible standard
**Financial**- Provide advice on equipment changes/improvements that deliver cost savings.
- Support the site's Operations Leader on delivering on sites overall budget.
- Be accountable for repairs & maintenance budget targets.
**Operational**- Drive a high performance culture within your team.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives that improve quality and customer service
- Ensure maintenance systems and reporting is utilized as efficiently & effectively as possible.
- Reduce downtime through effective preventative maintenance based on data trends.
**People**- Lead Safety by Example through consistently driving your team in adhering to safety policies, procedure, reporting and general safety expectations.
- Drive a high performance culture across your team through coaching and mentoring.
- Lead change management projects that improve performance and output while maintaining or improving employee engagement

**The experience you will have**:
- Proven track record leading a technical team in a medium to large operational site with complex high speed machinery and equipment.
- Qualified tradesperson ( electrical or mechanical ).
- Printing industry experience an advantage.
