This role involves supporting a legal team with civil and institutional abuse claims.
* Assist with intake, triage, and file management for Civil claims and National Redress Scheme matters.
* Track procedural dates, mediations, court timetables, and compulsory conferences.
* Prepare routine correspondence and check conflict issues, letters, briefs, and fee estimates.
* Collect, collate, and organize evidence, including records, statements, and expert materials.
* Coordinate responses to subpoenas, privacy requests, and manage disclosure processes.
* Maintain accurate matter data, tasks, and diaries in LawVu; support workflow and reporting improvements.
* Conduct research on case law and legislation, and assist with drafting policies and guidance.
* Manage electronic filing, data entry, and provide general administrative support for legal projects.
