In Australia, we operate a highly skilled, diverse engineering team providing advisory services to naval programs and maritime autonomy system development, with expertise in naval architecture, marine engineering, systems engineering, logistics support, consulting, and program management.
We are seeking a Test and Evaluation Engineer for a fixed-term 6-month contract. Responsibilities include:

Planning, coordinating, and executing test and evaluation activities throughout the system lifecycle, from development to sea trials and operational acceptance.
Documenting failures and non-conformances and coordinating remediation plans to meet project requirements.
Delivering engineering services, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing resources, and achieving project outcomes.
Conducting risk assessments and tracking major risks.
Reviewing contract deliverables.
Managing asset and data handover to end users.
Managing transition activities to close the project.
Performing ad hoc tasks as required.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:

A degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline.
At least 7 years of demonstrated experience in test and evaluation within the maritime sector.
Familiarity with maritime acquisition processes and verification frameworks.
Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and technical writing ability.

Additional Information
The successful applicant must hold a valid NV1 security clearance or be able to obtain one, along with other background checks including a National Police check.
