Job Description

The role of IBP, Supply and Demand Manager is a critical position within the organization. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the management of the integrated business planning (IBP) process, ensuring that demand is met in accordance with customer requirements and specifications.

The IBP, Supply & Demand Planning Manager will contribute to achieving the overall strategy and defined business targets of the organization. This involves managing the supply chain process, ensuring that production plans are realistic and attainable, and escalating any problems that may arise.

This role requires strong leadership skills, as the individual will be responsible for supervising a team of supply planners and coordinating the weekly and monthly IBP processes.


Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and execute the supply and demand strategy for the organization's supply chain department.
* Manage the supply planning process, including production planning, materials planning, and intra-supply planning.
* Lead the monthly IBP cycle for the Opco/BU, resulting in one plan that balances demand and supply for a minimum 15 months' horizon.
* Ensure that all involved in the process have a cross-functional understanding of their role and responsibility.


Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

* University degree in a relevant field such as supply chain, operations, economics, or technical engineering.
* At least 5 years of work experience in a comparable or relevant position, including demand, supply, and planning in the animal feed industry or other industries such as FMCG or pharma.
* Excellent knowledge and expertise in ERP tools, particularly Infor M3, and Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel.
* Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to convince and persuade stakeholders.
* Fair understanding of manufacturing challenges and manufacturing performance leverage.
* Ability to demonstrate strong numerical capability with a passion for detailed analysis.
