Role
As Practice Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day success of the clinic. This is a full-time, hands-on leadership role that will see you:
* Managing the day-to-day operations of the clinic including stock management, people management and rostering, and maintaining client records
* Leading and developing our team and building a positive team culture
* Ensuring that monthly KPI’s are met
* Driving our business forward through creating and implementing local marketing initiatives
* Delivering outstanding service and care to all patients and owners
* Nursing duties as required; including training and mentoring nurses
Skills
We’re looking for a caring and passionate natural leader, someone who is ready to join a strong team and make a difference in the lives of pets and their owners! Your skills and experience will include:
* A Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing
* Experience in team management - either as a head nurse or practice manager!
* Strong leadership and team building skills, with the ability to provide coaching for team members
* An extensive knowledge and understanding of veterinary nursing procedures
* Great communication and customer service skills
* A friendly, team player attitude
* Strong business acumen and organisational skills
* Experience with Rx Works preferred but not essential
