Unique opportunity for a skilled HR professional to take on a generalist position on the Gold Coast
**Your new company**
Our client works in the events industry and is experiencing a period of rapid growth within their People (HR) team. They have a beautiful location centrally located on the Gold Coast. An opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Generalist to provide HR support on a full-time or part-time permanent basis.
**Your new role**
This busy role will see you responsible for:
- Providing HR generalist advice
- End to end recruitment for a wide variety of positions
- Analysing data for HR and compliance reporting
- Assisting with recruitment and selection processes
- Owning and managing the full onboarding process for new employees including facilitating small and large training sessions
- Overseeing the compliance training program
- Providing support to the P&C team at wide with implementing HR projects, research and processes
- Promoting a culture of best practice and continuous improvement
**What you'll need to succeed**
To be considered you will demonstrate the following:
- At least 2-3 years' experience in a HR Generalist role or higher
- Qualifications in HR will be highly regarded
- Demonstrate a strong knowledge of employment legislation, compliance and best practice
- Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to coach and provide advice to team members
- Problem solving and time management skills including the ability to manage conflicting priorities and meeting tight deadlines
- Experience with HRIS systems such as ELMO and Humanforce is highly regarded
