Job Title: Human Resources and Volunteer Management Lead
We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our Human Resources and Volunteer teams in delivering best practice Workplace Health and Safety, industrial compliance, people and volunteer management.
This includes supporting the organisation's people strategy, ensuring compliance with industrial instruments (EBAs, Awards, Fair Work Act), and fostering a positive and safe workplace culture aligned to the organisation's mission and values.
About the Role
* Lead, develop, coach, and support the HR and Volunteer teams
* Advise managers on HR and volunteer-related issues
* Manage staff and volunteer recruitment, onboarding and offboarding, induction, and training
* Lead engagement, retention and wellbeing initiatives
* Act as organisational lead and liaison in all Enterprise Bargaining and Industrial Relations matters
* Audit and support payroll regarding compliance with EBAs, Awards and related legislation
* Oversee organisational WHS including RTW processes and WHS, IR, and RTWSA compliance
* Provide WHS advise and support to ensure a safe and compliant environment
* Develop policies, procedures, and business plans for people, safety, and volunteer functions
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or related discipline
* Significant, recent success in a Senior Human Resources Management role
* Demonstrated experience leading and managing teams
* Strong working knowledge, interpretation and implementation of WHS, IR and RTWSA legislation
