Project Opportunities in Metallurgy
This exciting opportunity is now available at a large-scale world-class modern mine operated by highly skilled personnel.
As a self-driven and enthusiastic project metallurgist, you will contribute to a strong safety culture based on transparent and open communication within the operating and metallurgy teams.
You will work closely with metallurgical, operational, and fixed plant maintenance teams at all levels to design and implement operational improvement projects that increase plant safety, throughput, recovery, and quality.
Key responsibilities include conducting pilot plants and test work programmes, facilitating plant surveys, coordinating external test work programmes, and ensuring a safe and effective metallurgical laboratory.
To be successful in this role, you will have tertiary qualifications in Metallurgical Engineering, Process Engineering, or Chemical Engineering disciplines, along with experience in minerals processing and previous exposure to operation of base metal concentrators.
A clear commitment to safety and ability to autonomously develop, conduct, and interpret metallurgical test work, plant surveys, and plant trials are also essential.
