OverviewAs a Senior UX Designer this role involves working in a collaborative team environment following member centred design principles to create effective, cohesive and engaging design solutions that meet the needs of varied customers.
Reporting to UX Design Lead, we are looking for a Senior UX Designer to join us on a 2 year maximum term basis.What are we looking for in you?
This role would be ideal for a cooperative and creative individual, who has a natural flair in building and maintaining strong working relationships with key stakeholders.
In addition, you will also have:Collaborate closely with a cross functional team of Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, Analytics and other subject matter experts across the businessUnderstand the member and business context by planning, prioritising, coordinating, and conducting user requirements analysis, stakeholder interviews, opportunity and competitor analysisFocus on aiming to continuously improve and provide the highest quality products and services which meet the needs and requirements of end usersExcellent communication skills; with the ability to present and discuss technical information to establishes engagement with others and gain understandingExperience creating deliverables including user journeys, empathy maps, service blueprints, personas, storyboards, scenarios, content inventories, information architectures, interactive prototypes, interaction flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity user interfacesAbility to work autonomously or within a team to assist with in delivery of a project roadmapStrong conceptual, information architecture and interface design skillsAdvanced knowledge of Human Centred Design principles, design thinking methodology and understanding of various frameworksFluency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma or other design toolsExposure or use of tools such as Zeroheight and Storybook is desirable; champion HCD, showcase its value and educate others within projects and across the businessWhat will you be doing?
Working with the UX Lead to assist in the delivery of projects within the Digital streamCollaborate with various Design and Development teams to assist with building out components and patterns for teams to use within projectsBe involved in promoting User Experience culture across the organisationRegular engagement of the UX Guild to capture learnings from projects to help share improvements that can be made for future projects and other teamsGuide the member experience design activities for business as usual and strategic projectsUnderstand the member and business context by planning, prioritising, coordinating, and conducting user requirements analysis, stakeholder interviews, opportunity and competitor analysisCreate and refine member experience strategies and conceptual frameworks; user journeys, empathy maps, service blueprints, touchpoint analysis, personas, storyboards, scenarios, flowcharts, and design prototypesConduct workshops with internal clients to define project scope objectives, target audience, marketing and advertising opportunitiesCreate deliverables including prototypes, conceptual diagrams, site maps, interaction flows, storyboards, page/screen schematics/wire-frames, content inventories, in line with Digital StrategyWhat's in it for you?
