At our busy Allied Health Practice, we need a hand. Specifically, we need someone with admin experience and ideally someone who has worked in an allied health practice who has NDIS experience.

About Us:

Based in the Southern Suburbs of Adelaide, Pearsons Services specialise in providing allied health services to children, young people, and adults with disabilities. Offering a flexible service, sessions can take place in our office or within the community. Our goal is to provide a true person-centred service while working within a trans-disciplinary team. Established in 2014, our therapy team has grown to include Support Coordinators, Speech Pathologists, Social Workers, Behavioural Therapists, our animal team, short term accommodation, supported independent living, day programs and our mentor support team.

Multiple fulltime/part-time opportunities are available for a professional, friendly allied health administrator/scheduler, who is an organised team player with excellent communication skills, to join our allied health clinic in Morphett Vale.

The role involves:

* Opening / closing the clinic
* Scheduling clients' appointments
* Greeting clients as they enter the practice and answering their queries.
* Assisting people when they phone
* Providing standard information about services
* Creating and updating physical and electronic files
* Standard phone and front desk reception tasks
* Processing of payments
* A range of administrative tasks to assist clinicians and management staff.
* Liaising and building relationships with schools and other external providers
* Participating as an active team member within the administration team

The role will require someone who:

-is a problem solver who can take initiative and has a confident and cheerful disposition.

* can multitask in an often-high paced environment

-has an eye for scheduling and can do so accurately and quickly

-experience with Brevity software is an advantage

-has excellent literacy and computer skills.

-has an excellent phone manner
