Your new role
1. Day-to-day project coordination, governance, and status reporting
2. Maintain project artefacts including project plan, RAID log, and decision register
3. Track progress against milestones; escalate risks, issues, and dependencies as required
4. Act as the primary coordination point between the Technology Group, vendors, and business areas.
5. Coordinate remaining migration activities and support business validation processes
6. Manage project communications, change activities, and user adoption support
7. Coordinate final sign-off, decommissioning of legacy systems, and handover to BAU
8. Support financial management, contract administration, and vendor closeout activities
9. Facilitate a post-implementation review and prepare final project closure reporting
What you'll need to succeed
10. Demonstrated experience delivering complex ICT or digital transformation projects
11. Prior experience in a local government or public sector environment is highly regarded.
12. Familiarity with Microsoft 365 / SharePoint project environments
13. Strong stakeholder and vendor management skills across both technical and business teams
14. Proven governance and reporting capability — able to maintain rigour under competing priorities
15. Experience managing change management and user adoption workstreams
16. High-quality documentation skills — project plans, status reports, closure artefacts
17. Strong verbal and written communication — clear, structured, audience-appropriate
18. Demonstrated ability to work within established project management and procurement frameworks
