We’re launching a brand-new café right in the heart of the RAAFA Estate in Bull Creek, and we’re looking for two energetic, people-loving Senior Café Attendants to help us bring it to life!
Whether you’re chatting with a local retiree, crafting the perfect latte for a museum visitor, or helping create a friendly, welcoming vibe – this role is all about connection, care and great coffee.

Our new café will be a bustling social hub for residents, visitors, volunteers and staff – and you can be at the heart of it all.
Your Day-to-Day
- Greet customers with warmth and genuine hospitality
- Serve café-style food and drinks with care and consistency
- Show off your barista skills – make top-notch coffee and beverages
- Keep the café sparkling clean and beautifully presented
- Manage stock and supplies – stay on top of the little things
- Handle cash and use the register like a pro
- Lead or guide junior staff when needed
- Help shape the culture and success of this brand-new café
- Be a proud ambassador of The RAAFA Way
Who We’re Looking For
- A friendly, confident communicator with a natural sense of customer service
- Solid barista experience – and/or official barista training
- A calm, reliable team player with a flexible attitude
- Outstanding attention to detail and a love of clean, well-run spaces
- Someone who truly enjoys working with older adults and the local community
What You’ll Need
- RSA Certificate
- Barista experience and/or qualification
- Valid Driver’s Licence
- Ability to work in Australia
- Up-to-date COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations (or willing to obtain)
- A current National Police Certificate (within 6 months of start date or willing to obtain)
