We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated chef or cook to join our food services team at WDHS Hamilton Base Hospital on a casual basis to back-fill leave requirements.
Chefs and cooks are responsible for preparing meals for acute patients & aged-care residents, catering, and preparing healthy, nutritious meals in our Green Bean Café.
Responsibilities include cooking, chilling, preparation, storage of food items, cleaning the kitchen, plating, presentation and general kitchen duties.
The applicant will work with our Head Chef and report directly to the Food Services Manager and Group Manager of Support Services.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a food services team that strives for excellence.This permanent position is Monday to Friday shifts between 6.30am and 2.30pm.
Work may include some weekend and public holiday work.
