Key Responsibilities:
- Manage, monitor, and support projects; assist in the day-to-day operations of the Sales, Logistics, Engineering, and Purchasing departments to implement current or prospective projects, through the sale of products, systems, and services for the company, performing associated functions and responsibilities.
- Ensure quality service to customers to promote projects and ensure work is completed in a timely, safe, and environmentally friendly manner.
- As this is a newly created and evolving position, duties and responsibilities will vary and include:
- Controlling and managing project deliveries
- Monitoring project progress
- Assisting teams with issues and setbacks
- Developing client relationships
- Meeting with clients to understand and learn their evolving needs, ensuring our performance aligns with their requirements
- Conducting data analysis
- Seeking ways to improve future project delivery performance
- Organizing and attending trade shows when required
- Attending company-sponsored training programs, meetings, seminars, conferences, and stock takes as requested
- Participating in supplier training courses, seminars, or conferences, which may involve overseas travel
- Ensuring all activities comply with laws governing business operations
- Taking action to improve or eliminate non-compliant activities
- Adhering to Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) and Environmental Standards (AS 4801 and ISO 14001) and legal requirements under applicable OHS laws
- Maintaining open communication and feedback channels with all employees
- Following up on workplace incidents/accidents and completing necessary documentation
- Following up on Hazard/Near Miss Reports submitted by employees and completing required documents
- Performing other duties as required
Experience & Qualifications Required:
- Essential: Minimum 2 years in the electrical cabling industry, with management, supervision, and training experience. Good computer skills.
- Essential: Driver's license.
- Preferred: 5 years in a similar industry; flexible with work hours; committed to safety goals and objectives.
