Purchasing Manager
We are currently seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager to be based in South Australia but responsible for purchasing nationwide. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the purchasing team, developing purchasing strategies, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring that all purchasing activities are in compliance with company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement purchasing strategies that align with the organisation's goals and objectives
* Manage the team and provide guidance and support as needed
* Identify potential suppliers for the solar division and negotiate contracts and pricing agreements
* Monitor supplier performance and ensure that all goods and services are delivered on time and meet quality standards
* Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders
* Ensure that all purchasing activities are in compliance with company policies and procedures
* Manage the purchasing budget and identify opportunities for cost savings
* Provide regular reports on purchasing activities to senior management
To be considered for this full-time position you will have hold a tertiary qualification and have 3 years of working knowledge in the renewable energy industry.
