About the Role
Are you a skilled Upholsterer looking for a full-time opportunity based in Kunda Park, QLD?
CDC South East Queensland Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Upholsterer to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for repairing, maintaining and creating high‑quality upholstery for a range of bus furniture and seating.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Disassembling furniture items and removing existing upholstery
* Selecting, measuring and cutting upholstery fabrics to specifications
* Re‑upholstering bus seats using traditional upholstery techniques
* Carrying out minor repairs to frames and seat bases where required
* Ensuring all finished work meets high standards of quality and craftsmanship
* Liaising with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and priorities
* Maintaining a clean, safe and organised workshop environment
What We’re Looking For
* Minimum 3 years’ experience as an Upholsterer
* Strong knowledge of traditional upholstery techniques and materials
* Excellent attention to detail and pride in workmanship
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
