The opportunity: Help lead an enterprise ‑ wide digital transformation in care
Silverchain is delivering a multi‑year Digital Program to modernise how we work and implement a national operational care platform built on Microsoft Dynamics 365. The aim is consistent, digitally enabled care at scale across Australia, replacing fragmented legacy processes with a unified, future‑ready foundation.

As our Program Business Lead, you'll take the product vision and turn it into reality - shaping and managing the backlog, prioritising what matters most, and guiding delivery so the right capabilities land at the right time. You will lead design workshops, present solutions for approval, gather stakeholder feedback, and manage a team of business analysts to ensure program alignment. Working closely with leaders, subject‑matter experts and delivery teams in a structured agile program, you'll keep priorities aligned on Microsoft Dynamics 365 and ensure every release delivers real value for clients, carers and frontline teams across Australia.
Key responsibilities
The Program Business Lead will have the below major responsibilities:
* Set direction & lead the backlog - Working with the Digital Program functional consultants / business analysts, own the program wide product backlog so it reflects business priorities, user needs and strategic outcomes; run grooming, sprint planning and prioritisation across tranches/workstreams; keep it aligned to sprint goals, release plans and milestones.
* Turn needs into build ready work -Translate high level requirements into high quality, clear user stories with crisp acceptance criteria, and maintain end-to-end traceability from requirements to delivered functionality.
* Shape the solution - Lead design workshops, process mapping and solution walkthroughs with SMEs and delivery teams; validate feasibility, usability and scalability; champion configure over customise on Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform.
* Manage business input and obtain sign-off: Gather and synthesise stakeholder input, secure formal business sign‑off on requirements before design
* Manage and oversee a team - Coordinate/guide the functional consultant / business analyst and user champions team and their pipeline of work. Establish expectations (including tools and templates) and manage quality of deliverables through coaching and mentoring of team members.
* Assure quality & momentum - Ensure features meet business expectations against acceptance criteria; drive continuous improvement through sprint reviews, demos and retros; and support UAT planning/execution - including test script and defect triage - to land releases smoothly.
About you
* 10+ years in product ownership/business analysis/solution design on large digital programs; strong agile practice (Scrum/SAFe) and backlog management.
* Depth in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Customer Engagement, Finance, Supply Chain) including relevant certifications
* Excellent stakeholder facilitation and communication; experience collaborating across complex, multi‑disciplinary environments.
* Highly regarded: health/aged care exposure; familiarity with Power Platform, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Fabric; relevant agile/product certifications; post‑grad study in Business, Technology or Health.
