HSE Specialist Role
Synopsys:
This role involves ensuring operational continuity and delivering the HSE contract strategy by promoting a positive, safe, and sustainable workplace. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and monitoring project risks to maintain a proactive safety culture.
Key Responsibilities:
* Risk Management: Identify, assess, and monitor project risks to maintain a proactive safety culture.
* Workplace Safety: Promote a positive, safe, and sustainable workplace.
* Pre-Start Meetings: Participate in pre-start meetings, risk assessments, and hazard identification processes.
* Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety policies, site procedures, and legislative requirements.
* Audits and Inspections: Conduct HSE inspections, audits, and follow up on corrective actions.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate should have a qualification in Occupational Health and Safety (or equivalent) and 2-3 years of site-based HSE experience in the resources sector. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage teams effectively, excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, and proficiency in using digital tools are required.
