The Audit Office of South Australia is the independent auditor of the South Australian (SA) public sector. Our office reports directly to the SA Parliament on the audits of the finances, systems and processes of both state and local government agencies.
Our audits identify whether services and activities are effective, efficient and properly accounted for. We also provide recommendations to public sector agencies on future improvements they could make to deliver better outcomes to the South Australian community.

**About the role**:
The Auditor (ASO3) is our graduate/entry level role and is responsible for assisting with financial compliance and internal controls audits, and conducting reviews on issues of importance and interest in the public sector.

**Essential requirements**:
- The completed degree must meet the requirements for entry into the professional accounting program offered by CPA Australia or Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (_through their accredited tertiary degree entry pathways)._
- Be an Australian citizen or Australian permanent resident at the time of applying.
