Heavy Equipment Maintenance Technician
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our team based at Teven. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our plant by performing routine maintenance tasks, identifying and resolving equipment issues, and implementing preventative measures to minimize downtime.
Responsibilities:
* Perform routine maintenance tasks on heavy equipment, including crushing, screening, and batching machinery
* Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential equipment failures and take corrective action to prevent downtime
* Implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize equipment wear and tear and optimize performance
* Collaborate with the maintenance team to prioritize tasks and ensure seamless execution of maintenance activities
* Develop and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work completed, materials used, and equipment performance
* Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance technical skills and knowledge
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Relevant trade qualifications, such as a Fitter's ticket or equivalent experience
* Proven experience working with heavy equipment, including crushing, screening, and batching machinery
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex equipment issues
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
* Physical stamina to perform manual labor and work in a fast-paced environment
