The Royal Melbourne Hospital (RMH), one of Australia's leading public healthcare providers, invites you to be part of our award‐winning Mental Health Services team.
Roles available for Registered Psychiatric Nurse: Grade 2 Year 3–Year 8. Full‐time and casual opportunities available. Salary range $76,263 to $96,808 per annum depending on experience (in accordance with the Victorian Public Mental Health Services Enterprise Agreement 2020–2024).
Responsibilities
- Conduct mental health assessments and provide treatment to consumers, families, and carers.
- Coordinate care and ensure clinical standards are met through effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Manage clinical risks and contribute to a supportive work environment.
- Mentor and supervise undergraduate students and junior staff.
- Promote a friendly, respectful and supportive environment within the organisation.
Qualifications
- Relevant qualification as a Mental Health Nurse.
- Demonstrated experience in mental health nursing.
- Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to communicate effectively with consumers, families/carers, colleagues and other service providers.
